#1558: varnish not truncating file cache if make size smaller
-----------------------------+----------------------
 Reporter: anuaimi | Type: defect
   Status: new | Priority: normal
Milestone: Varnish 3.0 dev | Component: varnishd
  Version: 3.0.5 | Severity: normal
 Keywords: file cache |
-----------------------------+----------------------
we are running 3.0.5 on ubuntu. We originally set the file cache to be
33% of the disk. We were getting inconsistent results (some servers had
cache files that were 65% of the disk). So we change the
/etc/default/varnish file to have a hard-coded size in GB. When we
restart varnish, the file is not resized. What we have to do is delete
the file and then varnish will recreate it in the correct size.
