Message-ID: <20141016150009.GD4165@immer.varnish-software.com> Dear Varnish community. Varnish 3.0.6 has just been released. It corrects a series of bugs fixed over the last 11 months, including three robustness bugs that may, in odd cases, lead to Varnish restarting. We recommend that users that can't upgrade to 4.0 at this point, upgrade to 3.0.6. List of changes: https://www.varnish-cache.org/trac/browser/doc/changes.rst?rev=1899836 Source tarball is available here: https://repo.varnish-cache.org/source/varnish-3.0.6.tar.gz Binary packages will be available in the Debian/Redhat repositories in the near future. This is the last planned release in the 3.0 series. Please note that per our release schedule we support the old stable version one year after the next version is released. Varnish 4.0.0 was released in April 2014. The next Varnish User Group meeting (VUG9) will be held in Barcelona, Spain on November 20th 2014. Hold the date. This is where the Varnish community comes together to learn about, discuss and shape the future of Varnish Cache. Further updates will be posted on https://www.varnish-cache.org/vug9 . -- Lasse Karstensen Varnish Software (release manager hat on)
