Subject: Varnish 1.0.4 released

It is my privilege to announce the release of Varnish 1.0.4, the latest
bugfix release of Varnish 1.0.

We would not normally send out an announcement for a bugfix release, but
we decided to make an exception for 1.0.4 in light of the length of time
that has passed since 1.0.3 and the importance of some of the bugs that
have been fixed.

Varnish 1.0.4 fixes a number of stability- and correctness-affecting
issues from 1.0.3.  In addition, the documentation has been extended and
improved.

the release tarball, or online:

As usual, Varnish 1.0.4 can be downloaded from SourceForge:

Packages for Debian, Fedora and a number of related distributions will
be made available on SourceForge within a few days.  The FreeBSD port
will be updated as soon as the ports tree is unfrozen following the
X.org 7.2 update.
